In the year 1985, Dr. K. K. Gopinathan working as a Gynecologist & Obstetrician in the government sector realized the growing need for quality health care in remote areas of Kerala. Driven by this desire to serve mankind better, he and a few of his friends decided to establish a multi-specialty hospital in the strategic town of Edappal which is on the Highway and is well connected to the three major districts of Malappuram, Thrissur and Palakkad.
